Bulletins of the Association for Mexican Cave Studies are monographs on some aspect of Mexican caves or caving. Many bulletins are reformatted theses or dissertations. Typically, they are forty or more pages in length. They may include foldout maps or, exceptionally, large folded maps in pockets, but the latter are discouraged because they are easily lost. Bulletins may contain color or black-and-white illustrations.
Bulletins will be printed in English with Spanish abstracts and chapter summaries, or if they originate in Spanish, with parallel full texts in English and Spanish. The standard page size of Bulletins is 8.5 by 11 inches.
Prospective authors or editors of new AMCS Bulletins are invited to contact the AMCS Committee at petersprouse@yahoo.com to discuss the project.
